moving camera
Hi Lee
just saw this video which is quite cool...I quite like the first few seconds where the shot is similar to what we had but the camera is hand held, by an exagerated hand or someone with parkinsons as well to increase the effect..something to perhaps consider for the future...perhaps if hands traced the outline of the actions of cupping breasts we could subtley alude to our perversion through the film.

Egg easy over
Hi Lee,
this video is probably slightly over egged, especially with the ridiculous soundtrack but it is pretty incredible how some of the panning shots have been achieved.

Constraints
Awesome Video,
How about if we apply something like that to the panning shots we both liked?
Some sort of stopframe animation panning horizontally through part of the city?
It could be well dramatic and document the different light conditions throughout the day?
Location would be important maybe through some sort of 'treshold'?
There is a panning shot in the openning credits to path to 9/11 that i really like @ 0:54

constraints
Hi Lee
just seen this on archidaily, really like how the whole thing is just from one location at a set time, ends up being really cool, nothing no one hasn't seen before but awesome anyway

Tactile Architecture
Quite a cool article on archdaily today...had you heard about that monkey experiment before...mental
http://www.archdaily.com/186499/tactile-architecture-does-it-matter/#more-186499
Well enjoyed those opening credits...never even heard of that program, well nice shots though, something like that could work well...I always think of that shot on the steps at the end of the central library video, infact that whole film was pretty epic. haha, we could probably achieve something slightly more serious than that fairly quickly in terms of actually getting the filming done and then putting it together,,,just have to think about the narrative + locations.
I always liked the Band of Brothers opening credits for the reason they seemed to get longer and longer every week, sometimes it was great to admire...other times I just wanted to be like Suzannah and skip through it and have to sit there waiting and waiting.

Path To 9/11 Opening Credits
Hey Luke, Yeah that looked alright, some of those long horizontal pans are really interesting, could be fun jus having a go, or do i mean just hiring a mobility scooter for the day haha. Is that the original music that plays through? It seemed a little odd, with the images? I always loved the opening credits to this programe, Suzannah always used to try and make me skip the credits at the start of each episode ha It does remind of the sopranoes credits too.
The Court of the Crimson King
Hi Lee
I've always loved this scene from Children of Men, a film which has loads of sweet tracking shots in general. I know we won't be able to do anything like this in terms of its production but would be cool to attempt some sort of shot a bit like it...maybe in a more lo-fi way like the sopranos opening credits like we had talked about before...

quite a poor quality vid clearly off comeones tv but you still see the awesomeness of the shot I reckon...the sound edits are a lot sharper in the film...I think a king crimson fan must have over dubbed this

Leonard Cohen
Whilst I recommend that you watch this collection of images, depicting Whitsands, Cornwall in its glorious entirety. I would, if pushed, divert your attention to 4:10.
Epic
Haha Luke, please tell me that this was researched in between one of those fancy lunches! it is absolutely, well, epic. I like how it cuts right through the crap of noise music -a la- Glenn Branca, and shows it for what it really is; an out burst of sexual energy. I'd love to see it taken to its logical end and for her to play it directly with her Tove Jansson.
Potential Soundtrack/Video
Hi Lee, Know yesterdays concert was very exciting...I think if that second piece had turned into something like this at the end it would have been impossible not to use it for the film...

Getting a bit of sex into the film
Hey Luke I divert your attention to the lady in the centre, and to the little piece of light gloriously exploding from between her legs. this i claim is what we should be aiming for.
